Scotland Parapsychology Tour (April 30th- May 9th 2010)

In the spring of 2010 a group from Saginaw Valley State took their class on the road and went to Scotland for a Parapsychology Tour. During the 10-days tour the professor and students started the tour at night with a trip to Weem, to visit Castle Menzies. The group then went to Edinburgh, to visit Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile. A Burke Hare tour in the Edinburgh Vaults with a late night-early morning research exploration kept the class busy for a whole day (and night) in this very interesting and highly active site. There was no nap time for the group as they took the road right after the end of the research at the vaults to go to Ballater and have a tour and research time at Crathes Castle. After a night of well-deserved sleep the class experienced the scenic drive of the Scottish Highlands to Inverness to learn more about the “Battle of Culledon”. After that, the class visited the Neolitic Cairns for a short tour before heading to Dingwall and Tulloch Castle. The class then hit the road again to reach Loch Ness and spend the afternoon cruising on the lake and visiting Castle Urquhart. A free day to visit Edinburgh was the last chance to admire Scotland at his best before getting all together and catch the plane to go back home. “Fareweel, Bonny Scotland, I'm awa' tae Fife!” View Photos
